The lamina is truly a love child between Skin Harmonics face butter & a delicate primer. I can even wear it under my make-up because it works better than any primer I’ve ever used. It creates the softest thin barrier to keep all that yummy serum from evaporating away– I can’t skip it before bed or during my morning routine. While I was opening my first jar, the iridescent sea shell squares included in the packaging finally clicked for me! They are the perfect size so you scoop out just what you need for one indulgent dose of rose melt to deeply hydrate. The bulk size saves me from purchasing separate moisturizers & primers that I literally go through in a week usually. I am always using a bunch of product because my skin felt so thirsty. When I first starting using Lamina, I was a bit discouraged because it took so much effort to 1) get it out of the container and 2) more effort to warm it in my palms BUT…Danny was right! The extra effort is worth it! It feels different from the original face butter. Hard to explain how it’s better. It’s like a thin veil of dewy goodness. I guess an added bonus with all that smooshing into my palms is stronger chest and arm muscles!

I LOVE Lamina-it keeps so well in your cabinet, a fantastic product for keeping moisture in your skin! It is worth the little bit of time learning to use it. And the jar lasts sooo long, that in itself is so convenient. I love it more than the “THE Butter”!

Just like the previous reviews, this facial moisture barrier is worth the extra effort of learning how to apply. My 50 year old combination skin loves this product. I just purchased the bulk so I won’t worry about running out for quite awhile. It is deeply moisturizing but does not leave an oily look on my face. It wears beautifully under my makeup and makes my skin feel more plump.
